"We could never have done all this without wonderful people like you"

Dear International friends,
Since 1996 we have had the grace to bless Israel. In total we have helped 18 000 Jews back home, all in cooperation with Jewish Agency, United Israel Appeal and many wonderful Christians from Sweden, Norway and Finland.

But we are also helping within Israel. For a long time we have been supporting a children's home in Israel. They have been struggling financially for awhile, so by the grace of God we were able to bless them with a large gift last month.

Below you can read a personal letter from one of the managers of the Children's Home, Mrs. Hava Levin. This greeting from Israel and Mrs. Hava Levin is to all of you who are standing up for Israel.

"I was so happy to hear -from Ulf- that you are giving us a generous gift for our boys and girls at Neve Michael. I am so pleased that you continue to be with us and care about our children. Do you know that there are kids that still remember you and your visits? Please- you must come again soon and see the wonderful changes.. We are the only home in the country that has so many important services on one site. We were chosen to put up the one and only emergency center for teenage girls. We could never have done all this without wonderful people like you who believe in giving the child in need the life that they deserve to have. Please give your wife my best.. I hope to see you both soon, Hava."

Fantastic days in Israel

I'm visiting Israel this week, from Wednesday to Friday. Many different situations are escalating. Jews are being held hostage in Muslim dictatorships and the revival among Jews within Israel is creating problems. A sanctuary of one of the newly-planted congregations was burned down a few months ago by a Molotov cocktail. I have met with Jewish authorities, Jewish immigrants we have helped home to Israel and Messianic Pastors we are in partnership with.

We at Pastor Tommy Lilja Ministries have decided to help:
A new group of Ethiopian Jews home (3000), the lost tribe of Manasseh in India, and Jews from the Muslim countries. This month we have also given a large donation to an orphanage in Israel since they were lacking finances.

I have also met with and interviewed returning Jews from Ethiopia, Yemen, Romania and the USA.

We also visited Haas Promenade, the place Abraham came to when he was going to sacrifice Isaac, before he climbed up Mt. Moriah. Today over 25,000 returning Ethiopian Jews gathered here to worship God. It made me think of the prophetic word that tells us to bring the Jewish people home to God's holy mountain to worship!

Please, don't forget Israel, it has its place in God's prophetic agenda. The return of the Jews, the rebirth of the land in 1948, the taking of Jerusalem in 1967 and the Messianic movement within Israel today are all signs telling us that the second coming of Jesus is drawing near.

Do what you can to pray and bless Israel.

The meeting was over, but Jesus wasn't finished!

Bangalore, India.
The meeting had come to a close and I was on my way out when some women caught my attention. A disabled Hindu woman was sitting in a chair, carried to the conference by her friends. PTL is in a transition because more and more miracles are taking place when we serve on the floor instead of mass healing prayers from the stage.
When I took her by the arms, she resisted, but in the name of Jesus she stood up. First she couldn't believe what happened. She stopped several times, as if she was doubting if it was for real. To start with, she took small, tiny steps. But after a few minutes she dared to let go of my hand. And after a few more minutes, she got her balance and started to walk. Glory to God! Our media team has put together a 40 second film so that you can easily follow the development.

Deaf Hindu boy, healed by Jesus!

The Saturday evening meeting in Bangalore was a night of healing. One of the miracles Jesus did was to heal this little Hindu boy, who had been totally deaf for two years. A big crowd came to Jesus tonight. The place is jam-packed, and tomorrow we don't know how to handle the sky high interest for Jesus. I have sent a film to our media office in Finland for editing, and I hope to be able to update tomorrow morning with a video of a paralyzed woman who stands up and walks. Please pray and stay in touch, Jesus is on the move ...

Photos from the crusade in Bangalore.

Resting after a fantastic meeting tonight, where we experienced a wonderful presence of God and several deliverances. Now we are getting ready for the Sunday morning meeting and the final meeting on Sunday evening. Thank you for your prayers. Here are three photos from the crusade:

The Hindus rush forward to accept Jesus.

The choir.
The meetings are being broacast on TV in Bangalore.

This boy had been completely deaf for several years,
and operations were unsuccessful.
But tonight he could hear just fine!

Peace and Healing Festival in Bangalore

What can stop a committed Church? From 0 to 3000 in less than 10 years. 98% of the members have a non-Christian background. Everyone is poor, but still funds are coming in. If Jesus can build such an awesome church in the middle of a slum, then he can do the same in Europe and in the Western world. Stay with us in prayer because tonight the fire of the Holy Spirit will hit everything that has breath.

Below is the promotional video produced by the church here in Bangalore.

Salvation in Bangalore, India

The church was jam-packed the first evening as the Peace and Healing Festival began today. And a big crowd responded to accept Jesus at the end of the meeting. In spite of persecution, the Church has done a great work. Tomorrow, Saturday, is normally the night for healing breakthrough, don't ask me why. It was a Saturday, three weeks ago, when 4 out of 5 disabled Buddhists stood up, healed by Jesus at our crusade in Burma. Please stay with us in prayer for tomorrow, since we expect a larger crowd then we have room for.

Pastor Tommy's final report from Burma

People traveled from all over Burma to attend the historic revival and leaders’ conference. Burma is a special place: if too many people gather, the authorities react; if too many people get saved, the Buddhist monks react. When 4 out of the 5 cripples stood up and were healed on Saturday evening, there was no way to keep things in check. At the final meeting on Sunday, twice as many people came than expected, and Hindus, Muslims and Buddhists gave their lives to Jesus.

The entire conference was coordinated by newly-started churches in cooperation with Pastor Tommy Lilja Ministries’ partner organization, Dynamic Mission, led by Johan Andersén. Pastor David’s new church was in charge, and hosted the conference. This church was planted 2 years ago and already has 200 members! Despite heavy persecution and serious threats to their lives, the church is growing.
The leadership conference, which had planned for 100 pastors, gathered nearly 300 delegates. Pastors traveled from all over Burma to attend the seminars.

Saturday evening was the breakthrough meeting. A woman who had been an invalid due to a traffic accident got healed. Another woman - who hadn’t walked for many years - stood up after being encouraged to by Pastor Tommy, before he even started preaching. There were many testimonies, and on Sunday evening the meeting place was packed and there were even people standing outside.

The location was a city in a rainforest up in the mountains. Now there will be follow-up, as well as work to plant more churches.

This was a conference that broke every boundary. Nobody thought that so many pastors would travel so far to attend the conference. The food ran out, the staff worked day and night, more people than we had dared to hope got saved, and now the testimony of what Jesus did is spreading like a wave across Burma – good news travels fast!

Thank you to everyone who prayed, who supported us, and especially to everyone who risks their lives for Jesus in Burma, a country that is starting to both open up and to wake up!

Burma - day 3

The final meeting of our underground crusade was packed. People were even standing outside! One pastor, whose life had been seriously threatened this summer by Buddhists, was crying out of gratitude to Jesus. Hindus, Buddhists, and Muslims rushed forward to the altar call for salvation.

It’s a balancing act. If too many people gather, the authorities react; if too many people get saved, the Buddhists react.

The newly-planted church has done an amazing job. Next for them is follow-up and baptisms.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us through prayer and encouragement.

Burma - day 2

Unbelievable but true. 5 paralyzed, disabled and sick people were carried to the front of the stage today. Placed on the cold floor, on a carpet with a blanket to keep warm, they put their hope in Jesus. In the first photo, one person has already been healed. The woman with the red hat is about to get healed. From the stage, I'm commanding her to stand up. The man to the left walked before we were finished, as did the woman under the blanket to the right in the picture.
In the second photo, you can see the woman with the red hat. She told us that she hadn't been able to walk for several years. The other woman you see is the one who had been lying under the blanket without moving. She said that her back had been broken in an accident! Amazing. Our underground crusade exploded tonight.
Watch and Believe - Jesus is alive. Today His presence was so massive and so intense. I can hardly tell you what happened when people were delivered tonight - it was surreal. Please stand together with us in prayer as we have still one night to go - Sunday night.

Burma - day 1

Burma 2013. Sitting somewhere in a city in the middle of the rainforest. First meeting yesterday. Good crowd, all unreached or saved within the last two years. The atmosphere in a committed, persecuted congregation must be experienced. Please pray, the Word is working and tonight we are looking forward to a real breakthrough.

Getting ready for Burma

Intensive preparations are going on in Burma to prepare for the Gospel next week. What we are now are doing is of great importance and it's a historical move in the city we are working in.
I will try to give mission reports from Friday next week.

Pastor Tommy reports from Livingstone, Zambia – August 2013

August 15
We have arrived in Livingstone. An elephant crossed in front of our car as we were driving to the hotel!

The crusade started today. Things have been more complicated than usual. Cars have broken down, permits have been revoked. But tonight the Spirit fell right away. I had hardly opened the meeting when several people manifested, which was very surprising. They had built a large cross to illustrate everything that Jesus took upon himself, the exchange that happened on the cross of Christ. One man who had been paralyzed in his left arm and leg ever since a stroke six months ago was healed.
In the video below, watch as the children march for Jesus, along with several healings from the first day of Pastor Tommy Lilja Ministries Gospel Crusade.

Video Report, Day 1:

August 17
The third day is often our day of breakthrough. When I got back to the hotel yesterday a crowd had gathered outside my door. It was the hotel staff – they wanted me to pray for them! After I prayed for them, then this morning the restaurant staff wanted me to pray for them too. And then this afternoon after our leadership seminar some of the cleaning staff came up to me for prayer. One of them manifested and two of them fell under the power of the Spirit. It was very encouraging.

There were twice as many people at the meeting last night, and it was a good meeting. We always illustrate the sermons. On Thursday we nailed pieces of paper to a cross, and yesterday we put handcuffs on our Africa Director. The woman who is running around in the video below had been suffering from a sickness in her feet, I’m not sure exactly what was wrong but she hadn’t been able to walk for ten years! Her sister was there too, and everyone was crying for joy. It was so precious but also a bit chaotic for awhile there!

Video report from Day 2:
Watch the old woman rise from her wheelchair, see the tears of two healed sisters, and take part in the atmosphere Jesus.

Video report from Day 3:
Watch and hear the young vision-impaired girl read without glasses and see a woman who was healed from cancer.

Yesterday when I looked out the balcony door I saw a zebra!

August 18
Things have been very intense and the meetings have been incredible. Last night the entire crowd stood in silence, waiting for the Holy Spirit to come. A few minutes passed, but then in one single moment there was a total breakthrough. In the video you can hear a word of knowledge being spoken and then see the man who was healed according to that word. You can also hear the screams that are an echo of Acts 8.

Video report, Day 4:
Watch a wonderful miracle, soak in the presence, and receive greetings from thousands of the newly saved!

A stroke had ruined her life, but then Jesus stepped in!

Final crusade meeting in Kabwe, Zambia...

One final, incredible miracle by Jesus. Watch and be touched! One year ago, Jessica, who was 6 years old at the time, had a stroke. Why? I don't know. She lives in the most polluted slum in the world. The stroke robbed her of the ability to speak or walk, and she had problems with incontinence of the bladder and intestines. But yesterday, on the final day of the crusade here in Kabwe, Zambia, during worship and prayer, Jesus healed her. On stage she was able to say “Jesus” and “Tommy” and as you can see in the video, she is walking - not perfectly – but still walking. This is reality!

A record-breaking crowd when a 7 year-old girl walked for the first time!

Pastor Tommy reports from Zambia

Thursday
Great start today. I’m in the middle of nowhere! The crusade venue is next to a huge township. Thousands of people were saved today, a long line of people were healed and a large number delivered from demons. Tomorrow morning we start the leadership conference, then we will do a  Jesus March in the city, and end with the second crusade meeting.

Friday
After another very cold night here in Zambia, the heat really came on at the leadership conference! A strong anointing came as The Holy Spirit encouraged and challenged the pastors. This afternoon we will have a Jesus March, accompanied by the military orchestra. It will be interesting!

The Jesus March gathered thousands of people as we marched through one of the biggest slums in Zambia. There are so many children here, and they are so nice and wonderful despite the poor environment that surrounds them.

There was a long line of healing Friday night. A 4-month baby, born with a disease in her neck muscles, was healed during prayer. The mother testified that during prayer, the baby suddenly stretched and started to move her head and for the first time since birth the baby was able to lift her head and look at her mother! A great miracle by Jesus.

Saturday
The third crusade meeting. The crusade is being held in the second largest slum in Central Africa, only Soweto is bigger.
Tonight it felt as if almost everyone from the entire township was there. And we have still one night to go, Sunday, the final night when our crusades always peak!

This 7 year-old girl, who had never walked, was healed by Jesus!
Her mother carried her, as they do in Africa, in a cloth on her back to the crusade. During prayer for the sick, her daughter started to move and wanted to get down. When the mother let her down, shocked and surprised. Her daughter stood on her own two legs for the first time, and not just that - she started to walk. Totally incredible! The crowd went crazy, since many of them knew the mother and her daughter from the slum.
