Never let others limit the goodness of God in your life!

Dear readers,

The best time of your life is NOW. That's the theme of a series of sermons I am preaching in May and June. I started today by laying a foundation and spoke about the importance of having a vision that continually grows, is renewed and developed so that you can continually burst through your limitations.

I don't know if you've thought about it, but in the same way that you can't keep new wine in old wineskins, you can't receive a renewed, growing vision while having attitudes that put limitations on you.

But if you dare to think and dream bigger, you can take the next step and expect success. God really does have more in store for you. Burst through the limitations that other people have placed on you and live in the favor God has given you.

In my surroundings, both locally and nationally, there are people who have certain opinions about me. But I have made up my mind about one thing: to never let other people put limitations on what God wants to do in my life, or what God wants to give me. He prepares a feast for me in the presence of my enemies!

My God is good and every day he wants to overflow with goodness in my life and your life. But with new levels come new devils, as TD Jakes has said. But that's another blog post!

Set your course every morning

Photo: PTL Crusade in Adama, Ethiopia - Spring 2010

You are the captain of your own boat, and you have to set its course every morning. I am in the middle of a teaching series right now with the theme: Live your best life now!

Ever since I got saved I have set aside time in the morning to set my course and to stick to it. One way to do this is to proclaim to yourself who you are! Read the 10 proclamations below. All of them are based on the promises God has made to you. Try to see yourself in these different truths; see yourself in these situations and proclaim these blessings out loud.

I proclaim that I am blessed:

  • with God’s supernatural wisdom, and that I have a purpose and clear focus for my life

  • with creativity, courage, opportunities and abundance

  • with a strong will, self-control and discipline

  • with a wonderful family, friends, good health, faith and favor

  • with success, supernatural strength, development and God’s protection

  • with an obedient heart and a positive attitude toward life

  • with the blessing of Abraham and that every curse, evil word and all evil toward me is now broken off me in Jesus’ name

  • in the city and in the country, when I come in and when I go out

  • and that everything I do goes well for me

  • and that God’s overflowing, abundant grace and goodness are in me and with me

Tell the problems how great your God is!

If you haven't done it before, do it now: Stop telling God about how great your problems are! Instead: Start telling the problems how Great YOUR GOD is!

When God created us, he put us in an environment of problems. Not so that the problems would defeat us! No, no, the other way around, that we would solve the problems. And that's who you are in Jesus Christ, you are a problem solver. Life consists of problems, and the larger problems you solve, the greater success you will reach.

These last 6 months God has been talking to me about the future, and I'm on my way to launch a vision, that I will reach 2020! Before me I have 10 wonderful years of problems!

Do you catch the point? Problems are not problems! They are possibilities. Without problems, no development. The larger resistance you overcome, the higher you will reach. And what an advantage we have in Jesus. He, who is the Ruler, King of Kings, Lord of Lord, he is on our side. The Devil will fight us for sure, but my friend, it's temporary, in the long run he must let go because he is defeated, under our feet, and he knows it.

So what to do? Speak to the mountain, you are son of God, you are heir of the greatest Kingdom ever, you are awesome, stand up, hold the ground, take the battle, claim your rights and be who you are. A new creation in Jesus Christ, predestined to victory and glory.

Nepal NOW!

Nepal, the only nation in the world written in the constitution to be a hindu nation. But since the revolution there is a door wide open for the Gospel. Today, PTL has 9 paid workers in Nepal, doing one thing, converts! 10 mini crusades per year, visiting unreached mountain villages - inviting, preaching, demonstrating the power and baptizing.
The photo shows one of two hindu policemen baptised to Christ in fresh cold mountain water!
